Description:
Dry Fly Innovations took off on May 28th to go fly fish the Owyhee River in pursuit to test out a new fly creation. We strapped on an Adams Caddis Green tied on a size 20 2X long and thoroughly gave it a workout. We ended up catching 14 big beautiful brown trout on the Adams Caddis Green, and towards the end of the day we picked up 2 more Browns on a Bare Belly Caddis Green. We were right in the middle of a Blue Wing Olive hatch and the large PMD's. Somehow the Browns were just more interested in the Adams Caddis Green than anything else hatching on the water. It must mean that the Adams Caddis Green passed the test with flying colors because everyone knows who fly fishes if your not matching the hatch and the size you are not catching fish on a dry fly. Dry Fly Innovations to the rescue, if your local streams and rivers are starting to hatch any sort of a Caddis hatch, give one of our numerous Caddis a shot and get ready for a fising day of the ages. We are at www.dryflyinnovations.com, and this month is Caddis month so all of our Caddis are on sale for the month of June. Check us out at www.dryflyinnovations.com.
