| I'm just an average joe as far as fishing goes. I love to get out and fish, shoot my bow, hunt anything I have a license/tag for and just experience the outdoors. Since I got my bow, I have not fished as much but I still love topwater for bass, bobber fishing for big cats, and wandering around the untouched areas of the local or undiscovered rivers looking for big trout on hardware or soft plastics. The real revolution in my fishing "life" was when a guy from Sportsmans Warehouse told me trout and other fish besides bass would hit soft plastic lures.... since then, I've almost steered away from hardware more to the soft plastic side of things. I have two FC4 float tubes but only use one since my wife rarely goes out. Thats ok, my daughter will put it to use here shortly when she outgrows my old round tube. I love yakking with other fishermen/women and although I haven't fished much out of state, I'm happy with what I have here in Utah and probably won't ever leave. I just got hired on with Easton Outdoors, in the archery department so I'm going to be doing something I love and it'll pretty much be a dream spot for me. I use all sorts of rods, spinning reels and have yet to attempt to fly fish..... I probably won't take that leap either, since I'm good at what I do. I'll post more pictures of my fishing and hunting exploits so folks can see what I truly enjoy about Utah. |
